Membership Types

As outlined in the By-Laws, there are two types of memberships available to new members:

• Regular
• Provisional

QTC has 155 Regular Memberships. However, at the discretion of the Board of Directors, it can allow additional Regular and Provisional Memberships to be created that exceeds this limit.

Fees

Initiation Fees:

• Regular Membership: $500
• Regular Membership "Legacy": $250
• There are no initiation fees for new Provisional members.

Annual Dues:

• Regular Members: $140 
• Provisional Members: $140

Membership Details

Regular Membership is available to an individual (age 21 or over as of June 30^th of that year) or family, which includes the spouses and any child less than 21 years of age as of June 30^th of the calendar year.

Membership is open to all residents of QEBA and QCBFD who own property in the delineated boundaries and are members in good standing of their respective associations as set forth in the bylaws. Unmarried children over the age of 21 are also included in this membership upon payment of the additional annual fee.

Provisional Membership is available to the child or grandchild of a Regular member. The membership may include the spouse and children of the Provisional Member.

Adult children (over the age of 21) of Regular or Provisional members who actively use the club, or have children who actively use the club, are encouraged to support QTC by becoming Provisional members themselves per the QTC By-Laws.

This requires filling out the Membership application, and paying only the Annual Dues. No initiation fee is required as a Provisional Member.

Note: The child of a Charter Member (**) does not have to pay the Regular Member Initiation fee.

(*) Regular Membership (Legacy) - When home-ownership is transferred to the child of a Regular Member, and that family has been in good standing for more than 10 years, a Regular Member "Legacy" initiation fee will apply.

(**) Charter Members - A Charter member is a Regular or former member listed in the Charter Member section. In total, there were 57 Founding and Charter members dating from the inception of the club in 1965. Click here for a listing of the original Founding and Charter members.
