Spring is here all the courts are open and ready for play!
Jim Whiting continues as our Pro and is available for lessons and clinics. Jim hit his first Tennis ball in 1967 and never looked back. He played Collegiate Tennis at the University of Georgia, and began his professional teaching career in August 1980 at the (now) USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY. Jim helped Billie Jean prepare for her last US Open appearance! Since then, he has taught and trained with literally thousands of players of all ages and abilities, from rank beginner s to former world number ones! And through all these many years Jim's purpose has never changed a bit; to share his love of Tennis with everyone and anyone who loves to play or wants to learn, irrespective of age or ability. Adjacent you will find the the 2023 QTC summer tennis schedule for adults and children. Currently, courts are available on a first come first served basis. Once our summer tennis season has begun, sign up sheets will be posted to reserve court tine. Clinic sign ups are made by contacting Jim Whiting directly. For information about the Junior Tennis (kids tennis), contact Jannine Leshem.

Annual Meeting July 1 st at 9:30am on Court 2. Come and participate in the management of our club!
QTC Summer Social : July 7th, at 6:00 pm. Rain date July 8th
Father-Child Tournament: August 5th at 10:00 am. Rain date of Aug. 6th.
Please send in your dues. 2023 dues of $140.00 are due by June 1, 2023. Payment options include check, PayPal or Venmo
** Please remember to only wear tennis shoes on our beautiful courts. No bikes, skate boards, scooters allowed, EVER ! And please lock the gate on your way out)….many thanks in advance….

The Quonochontaug Tennis Club was founded in 1965 as a non-profit club for the enjoyment of its members - all of whom are Central Beach and East Beach residents in the beachside community of Quonochontaug (which lies between Ninigret Pond and Quonochontaug Pond along the Block Island Sound, in Charlestown, Rhode Island).
QTC offers a variety of programs and special events for its members throughout the summer months. This includes group and private lessons / clinics, round robin scrambles and travel teams, as well as a variety of adult and teen social events.
